"Can we play the boop song again?"

A soft plush that turns touch into music. A boop on the nose, a high five, a hand on the cheek: every touch plays the next note, and a string of boops becomes a whole song.

Touch turns into music

Each arm has a small metal sensor. Touch skin to skin and the next note plays. You literally play each other like a piano.

A game for two

It only really comes alive when a grown-up plays along. Face to face, laughing, with nobody staring at a screen.

Solo mode too

Kids can hold one arm and tap the other, so they can play on their own while you're busy.

It has an OFF switch

The sound box sits in a zip pocket with an ON/OFF switch. Quiet evenings, saved batteries. You're welcome.

How Boop Buddies work

No app, no pairing, no charging. Batteries are already in the box, so you're three steps from the giggles.

1

You hold one arm

Each arm has a little metal button. Hold one between your fingers.

2

Your kid holds the other

Now the two of you are connected through the plush.

3

Boop! Next note

Touch their nose, cheek or hand. Every boop plays the next note, so keep going and you'll play a whole song.

Works skin to skin, not through clothes or gloves.

Together or solo

Two ways to play

Play together when you're around, or let them make music on their own. Either way, it's hands-on and screen-free.

  • Together: boops, high fives and cheek kisses turn into music
  • Solo: hold one arm and tap the other with a free hand
  • New game anytime: switch modes with the button on the back

What families are saying

Christmas morning was MAGIC

My daughter unwrapped it, grabbed Grandma's hand and started booping the nose. Within five minutes the whole family was on the floor taking turns. Best gift I've ever picked.

Finally, a toy we play TOGETHER

Every other toy my son owns is a solo thing. This one he literally can't play without me — and he loves it. We do the boop song every night before bed now. It's our thing.

Grandkids beg to visit now

I keep one at my house. The moment they walk in it's "Nana, can we play the strawberry?" I honestly tear up a little. Worth every penny ten times over.

Questions? We've got answers

Does it really play when you touch skin?

Yes. Each arm has a metal sensor. When two people each hold one and then touch skin to skin (a boop on the nose, a high five, a hand on the cheek), the plush plays the next note. It won't play through clothes or gloves, so go for hands, noses and cheeks.

Will we feel anything?

No. The batteries send a tiny signal that's far too weak to feel; your touch simply completes the loop. As with any battery-powered toy, check with your doctor first if you have a pacemaker or another implanted medical device.

Can my child play alone?

Yes. In solo mode your child holds one arm and taps the other with their free hand. Each tap plays the next note.

How do I switch songs and modes?

Press the button on the back to cycle through the 5 modes: melodies, songs, drum beats, music for two and drums for two.

Are batteries included?

Yes! AA batteries come in the box, so it's ready to play straight away. The sound box sits in a zip pocket on the back, so swapping batteries later takes seconds.

Can I turn it off?

Yes. The sound box has an ON/OFF switch, so it stays quiet when playtime is over.

How big is it?

About 9 inches (23 cm) tall, soft and huggable.
